The meeting was called to order at 4:05 pm by President Judy Mullen who led the
pledge of allegiance.
There was no role call.
The minutes of the March meeting were approved as published.
Treasurer reported a balance of $4,491.41. It was filed for audit. Joe has done
both the federal and state taxes. Income from recycle was $16.65.
Vice President Scott reported he is still waiting final notice from Far
Horizon’s and French Camp. Yanks accepted the reservation but holding the deposit
check. He will be checking out Tower Park in the Delta and The Vineyard in Vacaville.
Wagon Masters Report:
Judy reported on the plans for May at Gold Strike Village in San Andreas. An
agenda and food assignments has been sent out. She requested that all of the Vets
send pictures of themselves in uniform. Scott reported on the plans for June at
Almond Tree in Chico. Activities can include a tour of the Sierra Nevada Brewery,
Bidwell Mansion or the Yo Yo museum and a trip to Jehle’s home.
There is no Chapter of Excellence report this year as WIT is re-evaluating its
Preparations for serving the Saturday nights dinner were finalized. Judy thanked
everyone for their help.
The next state meeting will be Sept. 29-Oct. 4 in Palm Desert. Amy is resigning
as Vice President. A nominating committee is necessary for Octobers elections.
There will be a talent show. Judy gave a $25.00 gift card to In and Out Burgers for
the outing. GNR theme is Red, White, and Winnebago. Jo Macaluso moved and
Mary Jehle seconded that we send $100 to
the youth program.
Sunshine Report for April, Leora sent an e card to Judy for her birthday. The Jehle’s
celebrated their anniversary.
There was a discussion that we are considered a “small club”. (13 active rigs).
We are losing 3 (Worley's, Reinhart's, and Reimers). We need new officers for next
year. We also need to consider ways to simplify the wagon masters responsibilities.
