May 2015
By Gloria Anderson

The Chardonnay Travelers had a wonderful outing to Tahoe Valley RV Resort at South Lake Tahoe, CA with
8 rigs the weekend of May 28-31, 2015.  We enjoyed the beautiful weather, evening campfires, fun travel
stories and games.  We played miniature golf
and enjoyed a picnic lunch by the beach.

The area is 6200 ft elevation in beautiful pines. We had dinner at Passaretti’s Italian restaurant.

We visited the Tallac Historic Site and Washoe Indian Museum.  The site was made up of three estates: the
Baldwin, Pope and the Valhalla which were built in the late 1800s – early 1900s. The estates can be toured on
weekends.

If any of you are traveling to CA, the Lake Tahoe area is a must to visit.
