The rains of El Nino could not keep the Chardonnay Travelers from gathering
for a February outing.  This month we traveled to the KOA at Petaluma on a
Thursday afternoon.  Our opening dinner provided by our wagon masters the
Macaluso’s and Walton’s was delicious.

Friday morning, we traveled to the Petaluma museum for a docent presentation
of the history of the area.  The building, a former Carnegie Library, has a lovely
glass dome.  Many braved the rain to various places for lunch.  At 4:30 we were
invited to a champagne open house to visit Johnnie and Leora Matranga’s new
Adventurer.  They had only owned it or a week.  A dinner at Cattlemen’s was
enjoyed by all.

Saturday was a sunny surprise.  After our chapter meeting we caravaned north
to Santa Rosa to visit the Charles Schultz Museum.  Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and
the whole gang were there.  It was a wonderful place to visit, so well presented.

In the afternoon games were out for those who chose to play.  The pot luck
dinner with bar be queued ribs prepared by the wagon masters was yummy.  We
ended the evening with a crazy game or Left, Right, Center.
After a continental breakfast on Sunday morning we all headed home, looking
forward to getting together again in March.
