Next Outing Wagon Master’s Report: The next outing is scheduled at Bodega Bay RV, Bodega Bay on June 24-27.  The Hosts are Bob & Gloria Anderson and Milt & Carol Wallace.  It still looks as if we will NOT have use of the clubhouse there due to Covid-19 issues.  So, plan for cooler weather, wind and fog.  It is a beautiful area but very close to the ocean!  Gloria Anderson asked that you plan to bring your own tables for eating and any activities that may occur.  They are possibly planning dinner out Friday night at Dinucci’s Italian Restaurant in Valley Ford.  Look for more information to come soon.

Old Business:  Our Club has volunteered to make a dinner at the CalWIT outing in Bakersfield, Oct 6-10.  We will request either a Thurs or Fri dinner.  We plan to prepare Mama Jo’s Sloppy Joe Sandwiches, salad, & brownies.  Would anyone be willing to take on the leadership of this event?  More to come closer to the event.

After the last outing in February in Vacaville, Don & Judy Walton were notified about their being nominated as Chardonnay Travelers Honorary Members.  Fred & Gay took their honorary membership plaque to them and they seemed very pleased for the nomination.

Mama Jo Macaluso was also nominated as a Chardonnay Travelers Honorary Member. Recently we were notified that she has moved to a new home in Brentwood with her family.  *Please note her new address on Chardonnay Travelers Membership Roster.

New Business:  Mandel & Margo Berenburg, past members from several years ago, attended as guests at the outing at 49er RV in Plymouth.  Since they are owners of a Newmar RV, and there currently is an agreement with Newmar and Winnebago, the Berenburgs are welcome to continue to attend as “Extended Guests” until it is decided otherwise.  Welcome back Mandel & Margo!
Debbie & John Zinck, from Napa, also attended as guests at the outing at 49er RV in Plymouth.  The Zincks have decided to join the Chardonnay Travelers.  By unanimous vote the Zincks were voted in as new Chardonnay Travelers! Welcome, Debbie and John…we are pleased to have you with us!

Sunshine:  Leora Matranga has been busy sending out e-cards to our membership for birthdays, anniversaries, get well notes, etc.  She is doing a great job!  Thanks, Leora.

Any Other Business?  There was discussion regarding some things that may be changing at the WIT level such as bylaws being taken off of the website (to be replaced later?), dropping certificates of insurance, clubs liability issues, etc.  There were other organizations mentioned such as FMCA and what benefits there might be available.  It was also mentioned that CalWIT will be requiring new officers for next year (2022).  Things to consider in the future?
